Issue 5000 of the digest-sized British war comic (with metallic red foil!). It began in 1961 and, incredibly, is still running today! In black and white! Shame it still doesn't cost a bob, but can't have everything, eh?

Unlike the feeble-minded "temporary custodians" (because they belong to the people, not the legal copyright owners) DC Thomson have on the Beano and the Dandy (annual), Commando actually seems competently-run, so long may it continue!

I haven't forgotten Professor Chaos ;)

This issue, in keeping with the name, is about a Commando called Joe Hartley, who is out to avenge his brother, executed by an SS squad while on a previous raid.
